Temperature anomalies propagate in couplets. An extreme minus can normally be found with an extreme plus. As the air masses move over a location, we experience swings.
Chart is 4 projections that present 1 theme. Warmer conditions expected late week with another blast of cold early next week. The projected 40s this week should accelerate melting of snow and ice left from last week. The swing down comes with another storm that has been handled with a little consistency during the last week or so. The storm overall will produce a lot of rain on its south side and some wintry mix on the north. Mostly rain here with some snow on the backside.
Summary: warmer late week with afternoon temperatures in the 40s by Thursday. Rain arrives Friday and could mix with snow Saturday morning and a few flurries are possible Sunday as colder air moves in.
